Minahasa-Penjabat Bupati Minahasa Dr. Jemmy Stani Kumendong M.Si, didampingi Asisten II Dr. Arody Arely Tangkere MAP, secara virtual mengikuti Rapat Koordinasi Pengendalian Inflasi bertempat ruang rapat pemkab. Minahasa, Senin (27/5/2024).
Rakor Pengendalian Inflasi diselenggarakan Kementerian Dalam Negeri R.I, dipimpin Mendagri yang diwakili Komjen Pol. Drs. Tomsi Tohir, M.Si sebagai Plt. Sekretaris Jenderal Kementerian Dalam Negeri.
Sekjen mengatakan, Berdasarkan pemantauan harga sampai Minggu keempat di bulan Mei 2024, perbandingan harga beberapa komoditas pangan antara bulan mei dengan April 2024 cenderung pada kisaran yang tetap dengan sedikit fluktuasi, dan perbandingan harga barang merah dan cabai merah di bulan mei mengindikasikan potensi inflasi dari dua komoditas ini, meskipun demikian terlihat tren penurunan dari Minggu ke Minggu di bulan mei 2024″ ujar Tomsi Tohir.
Sementara itu Pj Bupati Minahasa Dr. Jemmy Stani Kumendong M.Si, menyampaikan untuk komoditas pangan yang menjadi andil penyumbang terbesar terhadap Index Perkembangan Harga (IPH) di Minggu ke empat bulan mei Kabupaten Minahasa yaitu cabai rawit, cabai merah dan bawang merah.
Upaya yang terus dilakukan oleh TPID Kabupaten Minahasa yaitu mengoptimalisasi kegiatan menanam baik di tingkat petani dan mengimbau kepada masyarakat agar memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah untuk menanam, dan sebagai tindak lanjut dari rakor hari ini TPID akan melakukan sidak pasar dalam waktu dekat untuk mengetahui permasalahan terkait harga cabe dan bawang merah yang terjadi kenaikan akhir- akhir ini” kata Kemendong.
Rakor Pengendalian Inflasi turut dihadiri Kadis Perdagangan, Kadis Perhubungan, kadis Pertanian, Kadis Sosial, Kadis PUPR, Sekdis Kominfo, Kabag Hukum, Kabag Prokopim, serta Para Kabid. (Ronny).
