Morut,Sulteng-Kegiatan Jumpa Bakti Gembira (Jumbara) Tingkat Nasional Ke-IX yang akan berlangsung 2-10 Juli 2023 di Lampung Selatan, merupakan kegiatan rutin yang dilaksanakan oleh Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI), dan kali ini PMI Morut juga turut serta dalam kegiatan tersebut.
Acara pelepasan kontingen Jumbara Morut itu, dilaksanakan di Kantor Camat Lembo Desa Beteleme, Jumat (30/06/2023).
Ketua Kontingen Morut yang juga Wakil Ketua Bidang PMR dan Relawan PMI Morut, Lutfi Glandy, menyampaikan bahwa PMI Morut mengirim 24 peserta yang terdiri atas pengurus dan staf bidang relawan, pembina PMR, PMR Mula (SD), PMR Madya (SMP) dan PMR Wira (SMA) dalam kegiatan tersebut.
Ketua PMI Morut, Febriyanthi Hongkiriwang Ssi Apt, dalam sambutannya, memberikan semangat kepada seluruh peserta untuk tetap menjaga kekompakan, kesehatan dan menjaga pergaulan selama mengikuti Jumbara Nasional di Lampung Selatan.
Pada kesempatan itu, Ketua PMI Morut juga tidak lupa mengucapkan terima kasih yang mendalam untuk PMI Provinsi Sulteng dan Pemda Morut, yang terus memberikan suport dan banyak membantu PMI Morut selama ini, baik untuk kegiatan yang berskala Kabupaten maupun tingkat Nasional.
Sementara itu, Bupati Morut, Dr dr Delis Julkarson Hehi MARS, meminta, kepada seluruh peserta bisa memanfaatkan momen Jumbara ini, untuk menjalin suasana gembira dengan seluruh peserta dari seluruh Indonesia dan tetap menjaga nama baik PMI dan daerah ini.
Bupati Delis, juga menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada PMI Morut yang terus hadir ditengah – tengah masyarakat dalam berbagai hal, termasuk kegiatan kebencanaan yang melanda daerah ini beberapa bulan sebelumnya. (Hms/NAL)
