Asahan-Bupati Asahan H. Surya BSc melakukan launching dan sosialisasi program Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting (BAAS) di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan tahun 2023, Kamis (14/09). Turut hadir Kapolres Asahan, Ketua PN Kisaran, Mewakili Dandim 0208/AS, Mewakili Danlanal TBA, Perwakilan Kajari Asahan, Kepala perwakilan BKKBN Sumut, Ketua TP-PKK Kabupaten Asahan, Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Asahan, Asisten, Staff Ahli, OPD, Camat serta tamu hadirin lainnya
Kepala BKKBN Sumut Dr Munawar Ibrahim S.Kp. MPH menyampaikan kondisi terkini implementasi PPS di Kabupaten Asahan khususnya pada semester I tahun 2023 ini, beberapa hal sudah di selesaikan dan hal – hal yang perlu di tingkatkan kembali capaiannya termasuk BAAS. “Optimalkan sumber daya serta perkuat koordinasi, pemantauan, dan evaluasi, untuk memastikan program percepatan penurunan stunting berjalan dengan baik, ” Ujar munawar
Sebelum memulai pidatonya Bupati Asahan menyerahkan SK Bapak Asuh anak Kepada Forkopimda Kabupaten Asahan
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Asahan menyampaikan berdasarkan hasil survei status gizi Indonesia (SSGI) yang dirilis oleh Kementerian Kesehatan Indonesia pada tahun 2020 Prevalensi Stunting Kabupaten Asahan berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu 28,6% dan pada tahun 2021,angka Prevalensi Stunting masih kategori tinggi yaitu 18.9%, namun pada tahun 2022,angka Prevalensi Kabupaten Asahan turun 3,6% menjadi 15,3%.
Bupati juga mengatakan perjuangan mencegah dan menurunkan stunting ini tidak sulit selama terjalinnya koordinasi, komunikasi dan kerjasama yang baik, antar semua pihak/multi sektor di Kabupaten Asahan yang kita cintai ini. “Atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan kami juga mengucapkan terimaksih kepada kepala perwakilan BKKBN Sumatra Utara yang telah memfasilitasi kegiatan ini, ” Ujar bupati
Di akhir sambutannya Bupati berharap semoga nantinya peserta dapat menjadi Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting, demi masa depan untuk mewujudkan ibu sehat, Anak sehat dan cerdas khususnya di Kabupaten Asahan ini. (*/BoS)
