Asahan,-Pj. Gubsu bersama dengan Bupati Asahan, Wakil Bupati Asahan dan Ketua Baznas Kabupaten Asahan memberikan santunan kepada 250 anak yatim yang diberikan secara simbolis.
Ini merupakan gerakan cinta 1.000 anak yatim, kalaborasi antara Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan dengan Baznas Kabupaten Asahan. Pemberian santunan tersebut diberikan saat memberikan sambutannya pada acara Safari Dakwah dan Doa Keselamatan, “Merajut Ukhuwah Dalam Memaknai Spirit PON XXI Aceh Sumut 2024” Menuju Sumatera Utara yang Mantap dan Haemoni di Masjid Agung H. Achmad Bakrie Kisaran yang dihadiri langsung oleh Pj. Gubernur Sumatera Utara (Gubsu) Dr. Drs. H. Fatoni, M. Si, Rabu (07/08/2024).
Dalam sambutannya Bupati Asahan H. Surya, BSc mengatakan Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan siap mendukung dan mensukseskan kegiatan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI yang akan diselanggarakan di Aceh-Sumut pada Bulan September 2024 mendatang.
Lebih lanjut Bupati mengatakan, PON harus menjadi ajang puncak prestasi dan hasil pembinaan olahraga sekaligus barometer untuk mengukur daerah dalam pembinaan olahraga. “Diharapkan dengan terselenggaranya kegiatan ini kita dapat merajut ukhwah dalam memaknai spirit PON XXI Aceh-Sumut . Menuju Sumatera Utara yang mantap dan harmonis”, harapnya. (*BoS)
