Morut-Perkemahan Pemuda (Youth Camp) 2023, Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) Se-Sulawesi Tengah (Sulteng) secara resmi, di buka Bupati Morowali Utara (Morut) Dr dr Delis Julkarson Hehi MARS,
di lembah kaki gunung Ponteo’a Desa Tinompo, Kecamatan Lembo, Kabupaten Morut, Selasa (27/06/2023) malam.
Kegiatan pembukaan itu, dihadiri Bupati Murung Raya Kalimantan Tengah, Perdie M Yoseph, Anggota DPRD Sulteng, Ellen Pelealu-Inkiriwang, Ketua Majelis Daerah GPdI Wilayah Sulteng, Dr Franky D Rewah, tamu undangan, serta ribuan peserta Youth Camp.
Ketua Panpel Youth Camp 2023 GPdI, Febriyanthi Hongkiriwang, melaporkan, perkemahan tersebut berlangsung dari 27 – 30 Juni 2023.
Peserta seluruhnya berjumlah 2.460, terdiri dari 1.938 peserta aktif (remaja/pemuda) ditambah para pendamping dan peninjau.
Sementara itu, Bupati Delis, saat membuka kegiatan tersebut, mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Majelis Daerah GPdI Sulteng, atas kepercayaan ditunjuknya Morut sebagai tuan rumah Youth camp 2023 kali ini.
Ia juga berterima kasih kepada para pemilik tanah yang bersedia meminjamkan lokasinya, untuk dipergunakan sebagai tempat perkemahan.
Bupati Delis, berharap kepada seluruh peserta Youth Camp, agar serius dan memanfaatkan kesempatan yang sangat berharga ini dengan sebaik – baiknya.
Ia juga memotivasi para pemuda dengan mengutip perkataan the founding fathers Indonesia Bung Karno yang mengatakan ‘ kasih saya seratus orangtua, maka saya akan menjangkau Merapi. Dan kasih saya sepuluh anak muda maka saya akan menggoncangkan dunia’. Artinya posisi pemuda sangat strategis asalkan bisa dimanfaatkan pada hal-hal yang positif.
“Kami yakin Youth camp ini, akan mendatangkan berkat bagi daerah ini, karena semakin banyak yang berdoa maka Morut pasti semakin diberkati Tuhan, ” katanya.
Pada kesempatan itu, Bupati Murung Raya, Perdie M Yoseph, juga memotivasi para pemuda yang mengikuti perkemahan rohani tersebut.
Ia menegaskan perjalanan karirnya sebagai ASN dimulai dari bawah, yakni menjadi Lurah, Camat, hingga terpilih menjadi Bupati Murung Raya selama dua periode.
Menurutnya, pencapaian ini tidak diraih begitu saja tetapi melalui perjuangan, motivasi hidup, dan ketaatan pada Yang Maha Kuasa.
“Saya imani dan yakini semua pencapaian saya hari ini karena kuasa dan berkat Tuhan,” tegasnya.(Hms/NAL)
