Tomohon-Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Tomohon segera mengirimkan bantuan berupa satu unit mobil Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) dan satu unit truk tangki air dari PDAM, untuk menangani banjir yang melanda 19 rumah di kawasan Kakaskasen II, Jumat (09/05/2025)
Langkah cepat ini diambil guna mengatasi genangan lumpur setinggi lutut orang dewasa yang mengganggu kenyamanan dan kesehatan warga setempat.
Dinas Sosial juga menyiapkan bantuan untuk para korban terdampak. Kepala Dinas Sosial Kota Tomohon, Thomly Lasut, menyampaikan bahwa penyaluran bantuan akan dilakukan pada Sabtu (10/5/2025). “Pemerintah Kota Tomohon sangat peduli dengan musibah yang terjadi dan akan segera menyalurkan bantuan kepada keluarga yang terdampak,” ujar Lasut.
Bantuan yang akan disalurkan mencakup kebutuhan dasar seperti telur dan beras serta kebutuhan penting lainnya. Pemerintah juga terus memantau perkembangan di lapangan dan berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait untuk memastikan penanganan berlangsung cepat dan tepat.
