Minut– Ratusan warga Desa Sarongsong II Kecamatan Aermadidi antusias menyambut pasangan calon (Paslon) Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Minahasa Utara (Minut) Shintia Gelly Rumumpe (SGR) dan Petrus Defny Macarau (PDM), Rabu (5/8/2020).
“SGR… PDM…SGR… PDM..!!!”, teriak warga saat Shintia Gelly Rumumpe (SGR) dan Petrus Defny Macarau (PDM) bertemu masyarakat ditempat itu.
Aroma kegembiraan jelas terpancar lewat senyuman warga saat menerima bantuan kala itu. Sementara SGR dan PDM berbagi kasih, tiba-tiba ada seorang ibu dengan lantang berkata,
“Torang cuma mo pilih SGR-PDM, karena torang so kenal, dorang orang bae suka perhatikan rakyat”, ujar Ibu itu.
Sontak perhatian SGR dan PDM tertuju pada wanita itu. Dia adalah Merry Assa, yang kesehariannya bekerja sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Dirinya merasa terbantu dengan aksi sosial yang dilakukan pasangan calon Bupati dan wakil Bupati tersebut.
Simpati masyarakat terhadap SGR dan Petrus Defny Macarau mengalir dalam suasana keakraban malam itu.
Senada dengan Merry, Benyamin Agatz juga meluapkan rasa kagumnya kepada Calon wakil Bupati Minut Petrus Defny Macarau (PDM). Benyamin mengatakan, dirinya mengenal PDM putra Likupang yang dikenal sebagai sosok yang rendah hati dan ramah.
“Torang kenal Pak Petrus, beliau kan orang Likupang asli, cocok katu baku par deng SGR karna dorang dua itu orang bae”, ungkap Benyamin dengan dialek daerahnya yang kental.
Merespon sambutan warga yang begitu besar, maka srikandi dari Partai Nasdem inipun berpesan kepada kumpulan massa yang ada di tempat, untuk dapat mendoakan mereka agar kedepan, jika Tuhan berkenan maka SGR-PDM bisa menjadi Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Minahasa Utara.
“Doakan saja kami, karena jika Tuhan berkenan, saya bersama PDM akan menjadi seperti apa yang saudara-saudara harapkan”, ungkap SGR seraya terus berjalan membagikan sembako dan sejumlah uang. (T3)
