Limboto – Bupati Gorontalo Nelson Pomalingo, secara resmi menutup Ajang Duta Genre dan Jambore Ajang Kreatifitas, bertempat di Gedung Mess Haji Provinsi Gorontalo, Sabtu (21/5/2022).
“Saya tidak mengira seperti ini. Tapi ternyata luar biasa ajang duta genre. Mereka benar – benar dididik, dievaluasi dan menghasilkan orang – orang terbaik duta kita tingkat nasional,” Kata Nelson ditemui usai kegiatan itu.
Bagi Bupati Nelson, menjadi terbaik dan duta tingat nasional adalah bagian jangka pendek.
Tapi Bupati Nelson, untuk jangka panjang adalah mendidik mereka menjadi pemimpin – pemimpin daerah dan bangsa untuk mendorong daerah ini menjadi maju.
Termasuk juga Kata Bupati Nelson Jambore ajang kreatifitas ada anak -anak siswa pesertanya.
“Saya melihat mereka punya percaya diri, talenta bahkan telah diuji luar biasa pengetahuan mereka menjawab,” ungkap Bupati Nelson.
Kedepan, ungkap Bupati Nelson, bukan melihat siswa SMA dan mahasiswa namun sebagai Bupati Gorontalo, akan melaksanakan kegiatan serupa anak SMP dan SD sehingga talenta, kreatifitas itu kita dorng sejak dini.
Ia berharap BKKBN melakukan ini berkelanjutan. Sehingga sambil mendorong anak – anak tapi luar biasa juga para orang tua dan gurunya
“Kita berharap anak – anak terpilih nanti menjadi perwakilan tingkat nasional akan memberikan bias kepada anak -anak lain di daerah ini,” harap Bupati Nelson. (***)
